Opened in 2025, Shortland Golf Club is a 19 hole par 3 short course featuring state-of-the-art synthetic turf greens, bunkers and tees. The facility is also home to a 19 hole chip & putt miniature golf course.

THE CHALLENGE
Being a brand-new and completely unique golf course in a saturated Portland market, Shortland Golf Club needed branding and marketing that would speak to a wide variety of demographics.




THE APPROACH
GCM launched the Shortland brand in 2024, building buzz and interest while the course was still under construction. A focus was placed on building a local audience via social media, email marketing and digital advertising. Once the course opened for play, efforts expanded into Google Ads campaigns and Cable TV, driving traffic to ShortlandGolfClub.com for tee time bookings.
